Lions Donate to Summer Fun Reading

On June 9, 2016, Freeport Lion Dave Marcum presented a donation of $250.00 from the Freeport Lions Club to Pam Ferguson for the Summer Fun Reading Program held from 10 am to 12 pm every Thursday starting June 9th to July 14th at Cedarville United Methodist Church for all Stephenson County children ages 0 to 12.

The Lions board of directors voted at their May 24^th board meeting to enhance the fun this summer by helping to pay for a bounce house for the children. Lions appreciate other volunteers in our community who donate their time for better childhood experiences. THANKS!

The Freeport Lions Club meets every 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday each month.
